What do you beleive their plan is to confront it?
Is their defense of "illegals" in the hope of them one day becomming voters for their own, getting in the way of a more important issue, our ultimate safety?

to those who ( not having their heads in the sands, nonetheless) don't beleive democrats have defended illegals...not that this question even APPROACHED that subject..............then you are just living under a ROCK...they are trying with every fibre of their being to supply illgeals with health care and social security benifits, not to mention legal services all of which the bulk of true american citizens need to jump through hoop after hoop to attain.
if you support any liberal who wants ILLEGALS to have access to social security....then you simply have no concept of the word ILLEGAL.....were you on the simpson jury????

Some democrats do. Joseph Lieberman is a good example of a democrat who takes terrorism seriously - but then again, look what his party did to him because of it. Liberal democrats don't take terrorism seriously because they are incapable of recognizing evil. To do so would require making a moral judgement.

Terrorism, diplomacy and democracy DO NOT fit into the same sentence. As you are well aware, both Democrats and Republicans share at least one common view...the protection of our people. Terrorism is something that is being fought by both sides.
The illegals that have been allowed into our country have not always served for the better good (ie: taking labor positions which SHOULD have been offered to US citizens, etc.). However, we are not a communistic society, either. It is of utmost importance that we take into consideration the why's and the how's before we misconstrue the reasons to allow certain "illegals" to be allowed "in". I honestly can not see it being just for the democratic "vote".
Terrorism comes from many different places; not to exclude our own people...how can we as the people (both Democratic and Republican) be able to detect every terrorist situation?
Could you honestly place the blame solely on the Democratic Party? If so, maybe it is time to ask yourself how?

There is enough info all over the place that talks about 9/11. Lets see; the WTC fell as if it was a planned demo. it fell in its footprints. The building had white smoke, which means that the fire was lacking oxygen. People heard booms like explosions. Maybe it was like the 60's. Northwoods operation, you can look that up. It was when the us gov't planned a attack on our own people and to blame it on the cubans. This would piss off the americans and provoke a war. Anti-Castro. People need to look up history and see what all as already happened. This opperation did not happen but it was voted by all teh major people to happen. After learning into this, Kennedy was against this and fired Key CIA people. he also started a private investigation and started a a organization. Soon later a dude killed him and we were told it was 3 shots. We now know it was 5 shots(the cop in the rear was recorded saying that 5 shots were fired) and then the secrets were locked away for years/ so if we really now what happened, why lock up anything from the public. We are living in the endtimes and the mark of the beast will soon be available. Yahoo has a article about the new micr-chip and explained what it is used for. Revelations talks about this chip. Be scared if you want or walk with the lord.

I guess I've had my head buried in the sand because I have never heard the Democrats defending illegals. And as far as I'm concerned, we all take terrorism seriously. Some just use the wrong approach for trying to combat it. The war in Iraq was the wrong approach, and now the Democrats need to be in the forefront of the diplomatic effort to get the Iraq situation and terrorism solved. War only leads to more war.

Hey vancealot,

You said,"Dems have never cared about are troops or our vets, if they did our 100% disabled wouldn't be living at poverty level". Where have you been the past 6 years? The RepubliCONS have controlled the white house, the senate, the house and the supreme court. They are the ones who cut funding to the troops and the 100% disabled numerous times. They are the ones who are responsible for the recent horrible conditions (mice, mold, filth, dirt) at the Walter Reed Medical Center. The Dems are fighting to have the troops cared for properly. They are the ones who fought for a pay raise for the troops. After all, Bush is the one responsible for taking us into this war with Iraq and killed over 600,000 innocent civilians. Get real!

Plan is to get power away from republicans first, then take it serious. Voters, no. The democratic strategy is to allow people in who will help in the growing welfare departments. Big goverment is part of their plan, if you don't believe it, look up their voting record on goverment programs. As far as explosions heard in the towers, that is the sound that the support beams make when they let loose.

NO
Nor are they taking seriously closing our borders, precluding amnisty to illegal aliens, stopping the practice of giving citizenship to children born in this country of illegal aliens, shutting down free medical, free education, free social security and other benefits to illegal aliens. All of this will cost our taxpayers about 2 Trillion Dollars over the lifetime of just the illegals presently in our country. This is not right. We are entitled to far better representation from our elected officials. Lets take our country back. Put in term limits and get rid of these do nothing legislators who have been there for years and have not stepped up to their responsibilities - both sides of the isle.

No, dems. have always been weak on defense. Now instead of backing our troops, they want to pull out just like in nam. They want to make everything look like it's Bush's fault so they can sneak someone into the white house.Dems have never cared about are troops or our vets, if they did our 100%disabled wouldn't be living at poverty level. They will spend billions on anything to get reelected but pork out weighs our elderly and disabled

Perhaps the better question would be are Republicans taking terrorism seriously? Why is it that OBL has yet to be apprehended? Why are we in the midst of a Civil War in Iraq which has been one misjudgment after another? Why is it that now after years of ignoring Iran and Syria that our Esteemed Administration is now going to participate in talks with them?
