I don't know Victoria at all, I live in London and arrive just a day before. It's the biggest game of the season so far, so what I'm really after is a bar or pub which will show this "soccer" game.

Ask many bars or pubs if they have the channel "TSN" and if the channel will show the game or not. They showed the first leg at 1:30 am where I live, Alberta. So it is very possible they will show the 2nd leg (Which I assume is the game you want to see because you put Liverpool vs. Barcelona).

Check TSN's website. It might help you. http://www.tsn.ca/soccer/

I believe you can also watch the game live at their official website
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/
but I think you need to pay.

Hope I helped.

What you want to do is, catch the 9 o'clock ferry for the 95-minute crossing to Vancouver, grab a taxicab, and ask the driver to take you to the Frog and Firkin. They'll have the match on. (Sorry I couldn't find you a pub in Victoria, but the ferry ride is recommended anyway.)
