Absolutely and without a doubt. Bin Laden was quoted on video years ago, that after Vietnam, then Somalia "the Americans have no stomach for war or casualties and that the U.S. will always ultimately cut and run". At that exact time, he says, "the Jihad will brought again to America". This is what the "9/11 has nothing to do with Iraq" crowd, clearly has no understanding whatsoever of. Hussein housed and gave aid to terrorists. Suicidal extremists continue to flood into Iraq daily from Iran and Syria, to kill their own and ours. Congress needs to stop trying to play Commander In Chief and leave what needs done up to the Commanders and Generals in charge and give them any and all tools necessary to execute the mission successfully.

The wreckless, dangerous, power-at-all-costs, liberal congress' naysaying and backstabbing is emboldening and empowering the enemy and at this point, proving Bin Laden right.

The left all remind me so much of the crowd in the movie "Independence Day" holding up the "Welcome Aliens" signs on the roofs of the highrises, - mere moments before ..........."KABOOOM" !!

President Dwight David Eisenhower, a Republican, when he left office, warned us about this. He called it the "Military Industrial Complex." He was speaking of the huge military manufacturing corporations who make all of the stealth bombers, etc. They control Bush and Cheney and their cohorts. There is no "Iraq mission" other than to make money off of Halliburton, the oil companies, and these military corporations who are over there milking it for all they can. Look up the Carlyle Group. Find out just what their investments are in. The Bushes and the Cheneys are deeply entrenched in this investment group.

It depends on who you listen to! Politicians regardless of party affiliation have a habit of mouthing off to make themselves look good, especially if they are postulating for a shot at the Presidency or Vice Presidency. Personally I believe the Bush is trying to make Iraq a sovereign country with some hope of a bright future. He and his military staff are in a better position to actually know what is going on over there than the rest of us.

yes. because any failure in Iraq will have long-term consequences on further actions of America and it will be the second most highly embarrassing situation as the credibility (the bits and pieces that is left now) will be eroded and a military defeat there will send the stock markets around the world tumbling down ushering in a new form of crisis.hope those liberals see this.

If the liberials in this country have their way, we will not have a country in another 25 years. They are doing everything they can to undermine the military and get our guys and gals killed over in Iraq. Their way is peace at any price. That did not work in 40 to 45 and it will not work now. While congress talks, Iran builds the bomb and then look out, we will be in an even bigger war.

The liberals do no longer desire victory in Iraq. it fairly is all approximately power. they might choke previously they might enable Bush triumph in something. all of it is going lower back to the 2000 election that they insist sayanythingAl Gore replaced into meant to win, and because then, they have notably a lot vowed to oppose any and all issues that the president has tried to start. it fairly is been a hate marketing campaign from day one in all his presidency. 9-11 drew them up short, yet as quickly as they caught their breath from working for his or her lives from the capital homes, it did no longer take long for the detest marketing campaign to start lower back. and of direction the obedient toadies of our truthful, and independent lieberal press flow suitable alongside with all of it. A republican victory could be death to them. after all, in simple terms the lieberals have the ethical authority to establish what's ultimate for the country. in simple terms the lieberals have the ethical authority to talk with aggressors and pay attention, and acquiesce, and appease their demands, in spite of if those demands are that we should be murdered. in simple terms the lieberals have the ethical authority to handcuff our infantrymen, on a similar time as saying how a lot they help them, and that our lives are not worth sqwat through fact peace is often the final techniques-set, "if in simple terms shall we get them to reason with us." If we lose some thousand extra harmless civilian adult men, women and youngsters in yet another 9-11 kind tradgedy, the lieberals won't take any accountability, they are going to easily blame bush. through fact in simple terms the lieberals have the ethical authority to declare credit for that which succeeds, and blame others for that which fails.

Iraq was never a threat to the US. They were just unlucky to have oil and a dictator. The invasion wasn't specifically meant to get Saddam out of power. It was intended to confuse the America population and get a government in that the US would call friendly and the US could coerce for oil and make the Bushes and buddies even more rich and powerful.

hardly - by signing the executive order to invade Iraq, Bush subsequently dropped the ball in Afghanistan, endangering America by refusing to catch Osama bin Laden, allowing Al Qeada to continue it's operations and letting the Taliban control more of the country than the coalition forces do.

Iraq has nothing to do with our national security and it never has.
