Cool long trail with multi split up. Roughly 4 oclock position from moon. im in sc. Very nice display for a meteor.

Don't know if it was visible from Missouri-was inside chatting with my brother who is in Iraq. Sounds pretty impressive.

Cool...I have seen some meteors. Once I saw one then like a minute or two later there was this burning object high in the sky. At least thats what it looked like, I thought maybe a plane was way high and on fire. Nothing about it on the news, I still wonder what it was.

Hi. That's cool that you got to see a bright meteor. They are sometimes called bolides when they are bright and break up. http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?s=bolide&gwp=13 I'm too far north to have seen it and we have snow clouds drifting in.
