That just happened to me! I bought an Watch, and what came in the mail was PURE CRAP than what was shown on the internet.

i have never bought anything and gotten something totally different, but i have seen people selling XBOX 360 BOXES on ebay, and fooling people for a few hundred dollars.

During a dry patch, my well meaning friends bought me an inflatable g/friend. She is totally useless. When I took her over to meet my parents, she just sat at the table and poked at her food all night with this slightly surprised look on her face. No conversation at all. Can't cook, won't get up and make breakfast and NEVER takes her turn at putting out the garbage. My dog scruffy is so jealous of her too. It's the same thing every day. When I'm at work he spends half the day burying her in the garden. Last week I found her upside down under the geraniums with her mouth totally stuffed with old bones from months ago. And talk about temper. I poke her playfully in the ribs just ONCE with my carkeys and she chucks a giant hissy fit. Then to get back at me, she hangs around at the tire repair place for days just to get a patch job and insists all the guys take her around the block for a safety road test before she will come home. Next week after she recovers from her plastic surgery, (burst nipple, don't ask) I'm trading her in on a cat. At least it will put up a fight at the geranium bed. .

That's why I only shop with amazon.com.
They are by far the best online store! Also, I've shopped with fanfire.com.
Only 2 stores. Twice I've received the wrong item, or haven't received anything at all and they (both stores) have re-shipped the items at no cost for me and no questions asked. They're great.
And! I'm not in the US... :)

I saw a Judge Judy where a woman would send you a picture of a cell phone when you bought a cell phone from her eBay site.
She had the nerve to come into court to try to defend that.

My parents ordered something small and recieved a box a week or two later. They opened it and found it was absolutely and completely empty. They had to call customer service to get it sent again since the first sending failed...

Nope, whenever I have gotten anything from buying on line it has been at least as good as I hoped and often better.

i bought a dvd. it has the right title but it is the wrong thing in the dvd ands not what i wanted at all from ebay.

not with me. but it happen to my nephew he brought some ear rings for his lady, when he got them it wasn't what he ordered. he said he was so disappointed. he didn't' give them to her.
