I would definitely go with the Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. I love this movie and hopefully a sequel will come out that offers a good resolution to the movie.

Running With Scissors. It's an autobiography of Augusten Burroughs, a guy who grew up with an alcoholic father and a drug addicted mother. I'd like the sequel to begin where this left off, when he's just escaping the clutches of his mother's evil psychiatrist.

I think Kevin Spacey could do it. Or Will Smith, Ralph Fiennes, or Alfred Molina.
