I think it depends on who is left in the draft. If Jemarcus Russel is there, they have to take him. I think both Calvin Johnson and Adrian Peterson will fall to their pick. Out of these 2 players, they should take Adrian Peterson. If they take Calvin Johnson, they will have an incredible passing game with him, Braylon Edwards, and Kellen Winslow. But you can't get your passing game going with out a strong running game.

Adrian Peterson will be their best pick if they take him.

They SHOULD take Adrian Peterson, they need a play-maker @RB

and lee j, I don't want to sound rude, but you're honestly one retarded football fan if you think Troy Smith would be a good addition to you team. The Heisman is the most useless award ever. College is talent is SO uneven that it's easy for one guy to whipe the floor with everyone else (do you honestly think Reggie Bush for instance will ever make the kind of plays and put up the stats he did in college? no --he was just on a semi-pro level and was playing amateurs). Troy Smith however, was just a mobile QB (which works out really well in college) but is way to small and just plain not fit for the NFL. Unless a team feels they really need him for something, he won't go first day.

I think Brady Quinn makes a lot of sense, but I dont think they have given up in frye yet. So they will take joe thomas if he is there or adrian peterson. peterson is the bigger need, as droughns is not the answer, and their oline isnt really that bad its just that they were devastated with injuries before the season even started. Calvin Johnson doesnt solve any of the problem so they definitely shouldnt go in that direction, besides winslow and edwards already makes a solid pair of receivers.

JaMarcus Russell, QB LSU
The Browns need some work on their offensive line as well, but with Thomas off the board, there’s not another lineman worth this high of a pick. It’s tough to judge QB Charlie Frye’s performance because of the lack of pass protection, but I just don’t see him developing into a franchise-type guy. With the success Vince Young had his rookie year, I’d look for someone to grab Russell early, hoping for a similar type of turnaround

Who cares they're gonna be dumb and pass up the HEISMAN that ASKED to play for the BROWNS. That's probably the last time any player ESPECIALLY the heisman will request to go to the browns and the browns are going to pass him up. I love all Cleveland sports but I hate it when they make stupid moves like this, back when they drafted tim couch they were passing up DONOVAN MCNABB!!!! they're going to complain he's too short but I don't think someone like Troy will let that effect him, I think he'll find a way to overcome it, he'll be a top rookie, and the Browns will AGAIN be laughed at

...USC has many hall of famers. you're rather dumb. Troy Polamalu is additionally a usual pollhall of famer while he's eligible. there are a lot of different large Trojans appearing o.k. interior the NFL at present, like LB Lofa Tatupu and RB Lendale White.

Whoever they select will probably turn out to be worthless, the Browns have been pretty good at selecting junk lately.

they'll probably take Calvin Johnson to pair with Braylen Edwards at WR and with TE Winslow Jr if healthy that'd be a solid offense
