She only had a blood test because she had to go to the ER. She fell while out of town and broke her arm and cut her lip very badly. She was in Fl I was in AZ. But they did blood work and came in and just blurted out you were pregnant.

Well, a chemical pregnancy happens VERY early in pregnancy. many women have them and don't know it, as it happens around the time of your period so they just assume it to be their period. That might be what happened with your girlfriend. Or she was never pregnant, and just got her period and is telling you it was a miscarriage.

Many many babies are miscarried in the first couple of weeks and the woman's period starts on time or just a little late so they never even knew they were pregnant. She was probably having a miscarriage. Most miscarriages happen because the embryo was nonviable. If she had known tat she was pregnant, she will be truly grieving right now. For men, prgnancy doesn't seem real until the end, but for women it is very real right away. You need to look at it as though the baby was already born. If sh is fine, assume she is fine, it was very early and she may not be upset. Please don't think her silly if she is upset though, she may have already been dreaming about and planning what it will be lie to be a mom.

It's possible she was only two or three weeks pregnant.

It's also possible that she was further along but had monthly bleeding during her pregnancy that coincided with when her period would have been.
