We have a strong base to do this but we don't know how but we've seen it done before where one flyer stands on one shoulder and the other flyer on the other shoulder. But how does it go it up? We need some help, pronto.

WOW...these are hard to write on paper, but here it goes.
this is for One flyer / one base.
Two flyers would need 2 bases...there is not enough shoulder room for 2 girls to stunt on one base. somewhere there had to be another base or 2.

1. the base stands in a right lunge position in front of the flyer.
extend her arms above her head , reach out and back with her arms to join hands with the flyer.

2. The flyer steps up on the base's thigh with her right foot, pushes off the ground, locks the knee of her right legaand places her left foot on the base's left shoulder.

3. As the base provides support with her arms, the flyer presses down on her left foot and brings her right foot up only the base's right shoulder. a front spotter should be available and help the flyer rest and hold her foot on the shoulder.

4. The base releases the flyers hands one hand at a time; and places her hands behind the flyers' calves to provide extra balance and support. (THis is only for advanced only!) as an alternative, a back and or front spotter can grab the flyers calves from behind for support.

5. the base should then straighten their knees. the flyer will stand up straigh and assume a hi-v on hands on hips position.

6. To dismount, the flyer steps forward, off the base's shoulders. The base helps the flyer to the ground by catching the flyer at the waist with both hands (ADVANCED ONLY). as an alternative, a front spotter can grab the flyers hands as the flyer remembers to keep her knees bent and flexible as she hit the ground.

it really is easier than it is to write about! hope that helps!

If you have the main base stand facing north, the fliers facing him and back spots behind the fliers also facing the base (or south) then have each flier place their inside foot into base's hand and the back spots will hold the waist and help them turn up onto the base's shoulders (Arg, this is hard to try to explain here) so they are turning into him.

Also you can try to do a pop-up into stand on 2 sides (this is a good picture of it http://cheerwiz.com/CWdbPopbackshoulderstand.htm) or if he is very strong he can toss to hands on both sides.

Good luck! And be safe trying these things...it isn't that cool for him to have to tell his grandchildren that his shoulders creak from an old cheerleading injury.

Lift them up on his shoulders at the same time.
