Science - smience!... Who needs PROOF? Where is your FAITH???? Of course... sticky foods... hmmm... no 3 second rule!

no, there is no scientific basis or proof for the 3 second, 5 second, or even 10 second rule. I think *we* made that up to let ourselves be just a little filthier than usual and get away with it ;) It's just unsanitary fun thats all.

no, the three second rulse has no scientific basis. as soon as it touches the floor any bacteria, molds, viruses etc attach to it or they don't. of course if the food stayed on the floor for an even longer time it would get more bacteria and whatnot, but still three seconds is too long.

there is proof of the five second rule but not the three second rule as far as i know
