Complex question because the more uneducated confuse democracy with free market, as well as, capitalism.

First off Democracy is not an economic system and actually Communism in a true form is true democracy as well as an economic system.

I know that is confusing but I am saying that the term 'free market' does not necessarily mean capitalism and it is economic.

To answer your question, most of the industrialized world except China have free markets. A free market is one that does not have governmental regulation over trade and exchange.

pretty much every country on earth practices some aspects of free market economics. there are no countries that are 100% free market, though. Usually the most free market countries are considered to be the US, Hong Kong China, Ireland, Singapore, and a few others, especially in Eastern Europe.

Free market economies are being practiced in democratic countries like United States, UK, Australia, Philippines and Signapore. People are free to choose what business they like to operate as long as approved by the government.
