"Smoochy woochy" has to be the gayest thing I've ever heard in my whole life. You must know a couple of nerds that go around calling each other that.I used to know a couple who did that and made a habit of "frenching out" in public all the time.I always used to say to them,HEY YOU TWO,GET A ROOM !

I think pet names and such are all okay, it just bothers me when people overdo it with PDA. I don't want to see a couple sitting on a bench in a mall all over each other. Ew.

Yes! Even as a toddler I couldn't stand people talking baby-talk or being cutesy and goofy towards me. Back in college, my best friend had (and still has) a Hello Kitty fetish. Her whole half of the dorm room was Poison/Warrant/Ratt and Hello Kitty. Augh!!!

Depends on how they are used, e.g. with the pet names, some people really seem to overuse them, others sound natural and normal doing it.

I think it's cute, but after a while it gets old and annoying.
