And if anyone knows, why is ethanol completely miscible with gasoline while methanole is not (it separates into two layers)?

Methanol: CH3-O-H Draw C supported on a tripod of 3 H's with -O-H sticking out at the top of C such that the angle C-O-H is 107deg.

Ethanol: CH3 -CH2-O-H Draw CH3 with 2 H's like hind legs on the ground and H- like a tail sticking out behind. Then -CH2- with 2 H's like two forelegs standing on the ground. Then -O-H like a head standing on the shoulder of CH2, and the O-H pointing forward like a snout.

CH3OH is too much like water. CH3CH2OH is more like gasoline (octane). Although I have heard there are problems of miscibility of ethanol with gasoline.
