My daughter (14 yrs) wants to have her boyfriend (14 yrs) over to swim...in May and she brought it up. But I didn't say anything, but I gave her that look...but do you think that would be ok? Having him come over to our house to swim?i wouldn't be outside but, inside and not like watching there every move...i do not have time for that. Thanks in advance to your opinions!

i don't see the harm in letting his come over. you should be proud of your daughter that she asked if he could come over to your house and not her going to his. this shows that she not embarrassed of you (you know that's what they thing sometimes) she is showing you that you can trust her. make a fun day out of it. good luck and hope this helps

dont sweat it. let him come over, this way they will be under your supervision.. every once and a while you can check on them, see if they want a drink or a snack or something. trust me, i'm the same age as your daughter, and we know better than a. to have sex when our parents are abound, and b. to do anything of that nature in broad daylight when our parents may be watching us for the sole reason that it could become an akward/embarrassing situation. dont worry about your daughter, have some faith in her judgement and just show her that you trust her and everything will be fine! good luck!!

I don't know why there would be any problem with that. It's just swimming. And you would be home. It's not like they could really do anything with you there. She asked you months in advance, so trust your daughter.

I would. Let them have some fun in life. They wouldn't do anything horrible or wrong. The last thing you want to do is get your daughter mad at you cause then she might rebel.

Aw, let the boy come over, what can they do? But kiss? Trust 14...he wouldn't know how to have sex. If that's what your thinking.

I dont really see any problem with that one. Its just swimming. I mean, you should check up on them every so often but i'm sure they will be fine.

well what are they going to do? have sex in the pool in broad daylight while your home? im 14 myself and I will tell you none of us(that are rational and sane) are bold enough to do that. If it was at his house it would be very different though.

let him go over there
if you don't then you will just get you daughter mad at you.i understand where she is coming from cause you don't have enough time to spend with them at school.

i think you should let him go with your daughter because if you don't give them your permission to do things, your daughter might do even worse things with him and she might end up getting hurt.
