Btw ... how likely would it have been that Saddam would have nuked Kuwait (or the Kurds) if four Israeli F-16's hadn't bombed his reactor at the beginning of the 1980's?

Who glorifies martyrdom, North Korea or Muslim fundamentalists? Kim Jong strikes me as a person who loves his material life, whereas the mullahs would be just as happy to have everyone meet Allah today.

Not sure what Iran will use, but at first, this Country and its Lunatic President loves perpetuating violence too much to have no one to squirm for a while.

The news Media will absolutely go nuts trying to get the story out-there as they say. Fox News & Bill O'Reilley will do everything under their power to find-out what Democrat pulled this off, Geraldo Riveria will try to get a flight out & head for Iran just to see what the---- is going on, Got to love this guy, he gets right in the middle of it all & Shephred Smith Fox News will grab an overnight bag & try to catch-up with Geraldo, he feels this would be better than paying Alimony. Hannity & Combs will still be fighting. Anderson Cooper will be somewhere in the Bahamas with all flights cancelled calling his Mother Gloria Vanderbilt to send the jet. Glenn Beck will tell like it is and Nancy Grace will try to find a court that will bring Iran President into the U.S.A. for whatever charges she can think of!

I'll let the others correct your facts. [NOTE: I AM EDITING MY ANSWER TO POINT OUT THAT THERE WERE NO FACTUAL MISTAKES - ONLY AN IDIOT (ME) WHO CANNOT READ]

To answer your question, there's really nothing we can do other then sanctions and diplomacy. That's why northern Korea, Israel, Pakistan, and India are nuclear armed. Nuclear arms will spread - all we can hope for is to slow this down. At some point, if the new nuclear country shows itself to be responsible, the world will recognize them as legitimate. This is close to happening with what is probably the most important accomplishment of the Bush presidency and largely overlooked by the press - rapprochement with the soon to be number two world economy and proven republic of India by recognizing them as a legitimate nuclear power.
