I used to have two hens and they had a lot of feathers on their necks, breast and backs. Their heads don't have a lot. Their sides under their wings don't have as many feathers as their bellies do. Hens may have a bare spot on the chest where they put their eggs against when they are sitting on a nest. I'd say the rear portion of their bodies have the most feathers.

the underside its full of soft down (it forgot the name ) the little feathers it is full of them if you have ever cleaned a chicken you find this out the hard way
