I hope so and I pity the liberals when it goes down. It's time for conservative (libertarians) to take our country back and into the direction we should be going, morally. No more special rights for the vocal minorities, no more bending over for special interest groups, no more stirpping away of our constitutional rights. The first step is to find more than 3 people we can put into Congress that will uphold our beliefs and not be bought out by corporate lobbyists or fringe groups.

We (The citizens of this great country, the USA) dearly need a revolution and soon! Our government is totally corrupt and needs to be rebuilt, from the ground up!

It is no longer a government of and for the people. It is a gov't for the wealthy and the leaders of our country. The little guy (and/or gals) doesn't matter anymore.

It's time to take our country back, the way it should have been done a long, long time ago!

I doubt a recession will cause a civil war, which it will be if it happens. I don't think the country is as divided as you think. Don't look at what you see in Y!A as typical of the general populace. Eventually, this country will deteriorate, at least it's possible, like many leading nations have throughout history. But, we are still young yet.

The country would have to realize that they really don't have any say in anything before that could happen.
This country is run by the rich, always has been. We little guys are just here to do the work to keep the rich & poor.
I vote in every election, even though I know that no matter who is in office, they really are not concerned about me. The voting makes me feel like I matter when I know I don't!
Jeez, sometimes I even make myself feel bad!

No, we're good with what we have now, all we have to do is stop voting for the wrong people and our system will be fine. Also the military is under the presidents control, so good luck with any revolution.

I would not be surprised at all. This nation was born out of revolution.
Our government is becoming more and more tyrannical every day, and our politicians are becoming bigger and bigger liars everyday too.
How long will it take before someone has had enough, and takes action?

Sure, there will be a revolutions. The beauty of our revolutions, compared to some countries, is that ours happen peacefully in the ballot box.

If there were....it would be nasty as all hell. I hope there isn't because our economy would never recover. What developed country has had a civil war in the last 20 years and recovered? Our economics are the only thing that is keeping us afloat at this time in history.

No. Why do you say that? We made it through the depression without a revolution & the safety nets are much bigger now.

Yes....if enough people wake up and taste the poison. It would be so neat if we could do it the way it was done in the movie...V for Vendetta.
