Basketball requires full blown athletes that all have to run jump and shoot where as football requires only specialists (you only need one skill per position). Also, they have slowly turned football into a pansy sport by protecting quarterbacks too much and suspending a guy because he hit someone too hard.

i am still stuck also. I can't decide whether to join my high school basketball or football team. I made both. the football team is ranked #15 ,the basketball team is ranked #16 but i think basketball.

Football makes me sleep especially when the teams play really slow. Whereas, basketball is jus really entertaining, every move.
