Depends what kind of nightclub you want???? What style of music do you want to hear, live music, house, electro, trance, breaks? What kind of crowd do you want, casual, sophisticated, business, trendy?

There are so many choices its impossible to answer without knowing what you are looking for as the answers so far exhibit.

Revolver is a pretty laid back casual crowd. I like it but it does have the nickname in some circles of revolting. But thats just by people who like to dress up and want everyone else to do the same.

Metro is an amazing old building but the club itself is pretty commercial so if thats what you like then by all means go there.

Other good places to check out are QBar, 161, Honkytonks (now called 3rd class), Tramp, Public Office, Alia Bar etc etc etc etc

Find yourself a copy of in press or beat mag, both are free then you can look up what kind of tune/scene your into.

Phoenix Bar is pretty up market, great if you want a quiet drink with friends, but the music is well pox (my opinion). Bimbo's on Brunswick street is awesome, even though it closes at 3am...wish it would stay open all night...

I found the best way is to just try places, walk in see if you like them, if not don't go there again.

Have Fun
