with depo you should only get your period every three months so you're ok. I'm wondering why your doctor didnt explain everything about this method to you. I think maybe you should set up an appointment so that s/he can set you straight. good luck hun!

This is the first time I get the shot and I've been having discharges weird like brownish... all the month, a horrible right hand side pain, not sure if is because of the shot, some friends say is the ovary... is well just ... i don't want to have sex because I'm not sure if i will be discharging this stuff while having sex.. does this thing ever goes away??? i mean the brownish stuff... i was told by my physician, but i thought just some days of the month I've been having this stuff 4 weeks ago and still doesn't go away, i used douches to clean it, it works for 3 or 4 hours and the stuff comes back

i get very minor periods about 4 times a year, usually right when I need another shot. they are very light, and usually don't need to wear any pad or anything. Although, every month when I should have had one, I get all the symptoms of one, like back ache, acne, bloating etc.

some women do not have periods at all.
