It depends on who you ask.

If you ask the WWE, they let Angle go because they didn't want Angle to end up being dead. According to WWE, Angle was abusing his pain medication. He was in a lot of pain and he wouldn't take time off to let his body heal. When he's in the ring, he goes all out, even if it means doing further damage to his body. WWE let him go in order to save his life. Angle still had a few months left on his contract when WWE released him.

If you ask Angle, he left WWE because he's beaten everyone, and he's looking for a challenge, so that's why he signed with TNA. I think he also said that TNA was a lot better than the WWE (which is true).

Noooooo He's my favorite wrestler in TNA, it sucks that he got injured. TNA will struggle without Kurt Angle. They'll have to give the title to someone else who could carry the show. I don't know how serious this is, but its a groin injury, so it might be serious. At Victory Road, they will most likely make a match between Mick Foley and someone else for the vacant TNA world championship.

His contract was about to expire so he sign for a free agent. That means that he can explore all wrestling organizations. He wanted to challenge wrestlers in different organizations and to learn more talents from other wrestlers. He should be back in the WWE/ECW New Breed by this September.

He wanted out of contract because of the constant demands by Vinnie Mac. He wanted to take time off in early 2005 to go to rehab to get off of painkillers and Vinnie said it wouldnt fit into the schedule. After that anytime that he was supposed to take a break to heal, Vinnie would put something else on him. He was switched from raw to Sd when Batista got hurt, send to ECW for their launch. Vinnie Mac pimped him out , wore him out, and turned him out.

He had nothing left to do. In fact, the only other thing he COULD'VE done was become champion of the worst brand. Just watch him on TNA if you like him that much. If you don't have Spike just watch it on youtube or dailymotion.

he wanted some time off the road and since tna is only in florida, they don't travel much. plus, they tape 3 or 4 shows every time so they don't spend as much time wrestling either.
