I'm not sure for what purposes that you are asking. Is it for travel planning, research or curiosity?

Danny Yee writes very well on various areas. The National Tourism Bureau of Iceland have some authorative info and Cheaperthanhotels has lot's of pictures of scenes beside hotels in the North, South , East and West.
