foot = small snake
yard = your arm, shoulder to fingertip
mile = 5200 small snakes end to end. : )

It is C.9 yards-because it wouldn't be resonable to be A. 9 inches because 9 inches isn't even a ruler. It wouldn't be B either because 9 feet is maybe as tall as a tall human. It wouldn't be D either because that's too big..
