You asked about symptoms...typically there aren't any. It is called a asymptomatic disease. That's the reason why many people who have it either don't know or don't have it treated.

There is nothing you can do for high B.P. but go to a Dr. for the
proper medication to be on nor is this the place to be asking! I have high B.P. and have to take 3 pills in the morning to keep it
regulated. It's not something you can fool with, it's serious and r
heart depends on this medication. Undetected or ignored can lead to heart failure! If you don't have money & are in the U.S. there has to be a free clinic somewhere, or find $ from Mom or Dad, anybody as this is very Serious he could have a heart attack at any given time!
I pray you'se get help very soon!

P.S. Don't pharmacies there have free B.P. Monitors? You could at least keep a record of it. Normal is 120/80 but the last # is the most imortant if high. All the Best of Luck in the World!

All i can really give you is what i know, high blood pressure can give you an aneurysm. (Aneurysms are a bulge in a part in the artery that is weekend. High blood pressure can cause this, by pushing the weekend wall outward. If an aneurysm isn't caught early in it's stage then it can rupture and cause a death or stroke.) Thats all i know.

He needs to get on a different diet regimen and see a doctor to immediately get that pressure normalized.
He should quit salt, too. If he's got a weight problem, that's another aspect that needs to be addressed.
Do you want him around for a while?
Urge him to take better care of himself!
