The Buzzcocks, Circle Jerks, The Clash... a recent band I really like is Be Your Own Pet. Hellcat records also puts out compilations all the time with some of the artists they carry (like Rancid, Tim Armstrong, Dropkick Murphys), you should check out a compilation. Some of them are a *little* too poppy for my taste, but they're nowhere near as poppy as Good Charlotte or Green Day.
