He only runs around inside the walls...never comes out, even at night. We can hear him scratching around in there, and chewing on the studs and insulation.Probably has a little nest built!

We've put out snap traps, glue boards with cheese and peanut butter, D-CON, etc. He never finds the traps because he never leaves the inside of the walls!

We have two indoor cats. Both of them (when they hear him scratching inside the walls) start going nuts and begin pawing at the wall he is behind. If was going to come out, they'd have him!

Why won't he come out from inside the walls??? How can I get this little moron before he (or she) starts a little family of rodents inside my wall!!!

Mickey Mouse is out to play. And I hear your kitties are Sleeping LOL :)

Well, I am from an agriculture State and live near MANY fields. We have had a lot of mice.

I recommend that you start off by taking your electrical covers off the wall... Place some decon inside the wall and put the cover back on. Don't go cutting into your walls without trying this first... But like she said... This is cheaper then fixing chewed up wires.. I haven't had any yet but I'm not going to say it isn't going to happen.

Secondly, around your home sprinkle d-Con around the outside of the home. Mice come in to get warm, get food, and get water. Mostly if you live in dry state water... If you live in a wet state... food... Determine which fits your situations. WATER sources put D-Con around the fixtures. Since you DO HAVE cats DO NOT put the pellets ANYWHERE NEAR where the cats can get it. Food Sources... Please don't put d-con but, purchase Tupperware something the little pains can not smell.... They will chew thru cardboard.. Remember these little "friends" have small bellies so the cat food and smallest crumbs are a full course meal. If kitties are not eating pick up the food try feeding kitties once a day and clean out the dish with warm soapy water.

ALSO,

PLEASE be cautious because once these Mice are dead ...if by chance kitties get the dead mouse the poison is inside the mouse... You see where that is going.... Kitties usually won't play with it if it is dead but some will Curiosity.....

Secondly Under the house if asseble ... Sprinkle Dcon everywhere... then move up to the attic. Don't forget near the washing machine under bathroom sinks. Under cabinets....

Good Luck,

Summer is approaching and the mice will soon be packing there bags!

Rodents are not morons. They have been on theis earth longer than man.You must think like a mouse. First of all where is he getting his food from? Answer from you. Check your cabinets pantries And drawers. He is there because he has a food source. Also the cats if domestic will play with not kill the mouse. They are night creatures and so are cats. The cats are keeping the mouse from wondering from his comfort zone. He keeps from harms way. Have a close friend keeps the cats for the week end. Bait traps with peanut-butter. Where they have been getting into your food storage.Mice have bad eye site thy will walk along the base boards. So place traps along th walls. Not in the center of the room. Happy Hunting!

I once had something in my wall...turns out it was a squirrel...I called CRITTER CONTROL. Apparently I have an extra chimney that goes to no fireplace but did have access to a wall. Good luck to you and to the critters. I really love and respect the rights of animals so I did this as carefully as possible to allow him a way to the outdoors....he is now a very happy squirrel living in Mother Nature's hotel.

It may be time to cut a small, repairable hole in the sheet rock and put the trap near the spot where your little friend has been heard on a regular basis. Better to have to repair a nice neat hole in the sheet rock than having to tear it all out to get to shorted out wiring from chewed insulation!

If you could locate his access to the wall that would make all the difference for placement of traps. If this is not feasible, consult an exterminator. May things get better soon.

the place's the busiest spot/room for the mice, do you comprehend? in case you comprehend the place the 'site visitors' occurs, then lay traps around that section, and shop your cat removed from that room. in the journey that your cat will no longer be able to seize them, then you certainly will ought to place self assurance in traps. We used rat poison and traps (we've 3 dogs; a million interior and a pair of exterior) to kill off ours. We located them interior the vents and a few in the back of the television and that did it for us. As for a secure capture on your cat, we used a lined, around capture by potential of d-CON so as that the dogs won't by twist of destiny capture themselves. there's a small entryway for the mice so i'm specific it's going to be secure on your cat. We additionally had a mice killing plug(?) that we've had on continuously. i do no longer understand the way it works, despite the fact that it kills the mice between the partitions so as that they gained't cut back to rubble your wires or insulation. wish this helped. :]
