Do those things really serve a purpose. I'm goning to tell you right now, I have a master's degree in nursing but I can't work the darn things to save my life. I APPRECIATE the ladys and men who work at those checkouts and will stand in line so they can check me out of there. Does anyone else have the same problems or feelings about those self checkout monsters???

Where do you live? I will pay your little sister to check me out at Wal-Mart. Seriously, I am just self checkout challenged I guess. Maybe they will come up with a therapy and a new pill for that problem.

Well, actually the self-checkout place is if you have 1-10 items, maybe that's your problem? What can't you get to work anywayz? It's like so easy!! We went to walmart once, my 5 year old sis had a dollar. She bought a candy bar. She bought in the self-checkout. A 5 year old!!! No, I'm not offending u, jus sayin that if my sis can do it, u can 2!!

I love the self checkouts! When I'm only getting one or two items I can get through them before the line even moves in the express lane. I think they are the best idea stores have yet thought up.

Seriously! My nephew was using my brother's ipad and wanted to show me something. He handed me the ipad and I had no idea how to hold it, let alone use it (I like my old technology). He could tell I was a deer in the headlights so he was like..."Here, just swipe side to side then..." as his fingers were moving a million miles an hour, doing the fancy schmancy flips and swipes. I knew I am way behind in the times. Especially when a little kid can out do me on an oversized iphone.

It's a matter of finding the right angle of scanning your purchase. Of course I've had my problems with them before but finally came to love the convenience of the machines. Just takes some time to getting use to it.

I love them! I think they're the best invention since sliced cheese. If there's one thing that pi$$es me off it's nosy freaking checkout chicks offering unwanted observations on the goods I purchase.

Yes! I can use the ones at Mr. Z's fine, but the WalMart, you have to wait so long to bag them right so that it doesn't mess up. Hate em. I can work it right, but it's best to use them when you only have a few items and don't want to wait forever in line.

Every now and then, I just know it will be faster to self check, and what do you know, something goes wrong and it would be faster just to wait in line. When will I learn?
