Auditioning for American Idol?

If I wanted to audition for American Idol, how would I do it? I want to know how to sign up and all that.

Well, American Idol first has you audition for 30 seconds in front of 20-some half-asleep producers, they pick the ones they think looks hottest, most rediculous, or hopeless on television, and they send away the people with real talent. I highly suggest you break into the business another way.
