When people say "Oh, you're so tall" what do you say? I find myself at a loss of words...

I usually say something like "yeah, I know". I guess I could say thanks.

ok, 5'6 and 5'8 aren't that tall...I'm talking about 5'10 and higher...

I'm 6'0 and I just say "thanks". Think about the reason women wear heels, or the fact that most models (often considered the most beautiful women in the world) are required to be a minimum of 5'8", or how many times have guys been absolutely in awe when they see you strut by...they love it! Not many women are in your ranks so be sure to work your stuff and take it as a compliment!

Say Thanks, and be proud of yourself. If people don't like you---its their loss. (I'm 58 and have been 5'10' in the 8th grade) People generally admire tall women.

I'm not THAT tall, just taller than half of my friends so I say to them, "whatever, I'm not that tall." lol. Makes no difference, most people like me for my personality, not my size. =)

its like they point out the obvious...of course im tall. im 5ft6 and 13. most of my friends are barely 5 ft.
not that being tall is a bad thing.....

well, I'm short but my mom told me to say better things come in smaller packages,,,,so you could say something like bigger better things come in tall packages

You should just say..."well actually, you are just short"...Besides we should be celebrating height...walk tall and be proud of your height! Beth
