I am 20 right now, I am planning to buy a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Should I wait until I am 21 to buy a car? Does it help when I get a finance, and insurance?

Age doesn't matter, but being able to afford it does. In addition to being able to buy the car, you need to know how much gas is going to cost you in comparison to your current car.

Also- if you have a loan on the car you'll have to get full coverage insurance on your car so you'll need to know what the extra cost is for that too.

Once you have that information you should be able to make the decision on if you can actually afford the car or not.

Age doesn't matter when buying a car. It's all about good credit and having a job where you can afford it. Insurance for a 20 and 21 yr are pretty much the same.

I own a FJ Cruiser and they eat fuel bad so if you don't have a good job wait. They take only premium fuel and get around 16 miles to the gallon. hiway. Not to good.

Buy a car now. You should be an expert driver by the time you're 21.

age doesn't matter when buying a car, unless you can not afford it...your insurance will not go down until you reach 26...so go for it, but make sure you have a good job to make those payments because they will come every month.

yea, it helps. dont wait. each second/minute/hour/day/year that passes is a boring second/minute/hour/day/year. get it before their considered old and they're gone.
