No, that's cool. You thought of the book, and we would both know the truth, so it would be okay...

problem here is you are facing a law suit. There is no guartantee that the person of every answer you use is going to come on here and give you permission. Also, unless you make them sign a leagal contract, they could come back and demand money if the book did well. Its not worth it....if you have to give a cut to each person whose answer you use, including probably yahoo, you'd never make a profit.

Well I've gotta be honest with you...I kinda would mind if it was REALLY funny but not if something that anyone could of said.
I would just credit the really funny ones, I mean its not like everyone thats credited in it is gonna want like .005% of the money you make from the books.
But personally I really don't mind.

Yes I would mind...if you used one of my answers to help you get rich...then I'd want some credit for it!

And just like in TV land, wouldnt you have to ask permission from the person anyway?

I would be slightly peeved but everything we post here becomes the intellecutal property of the Yahoo! Corp. and they would probably sue you blue.

While yahoo itself could legally do so, you cannot without asking permission from the answerers, or from yahoo.
