no,i am not allergic to the wax because i have done them before and i have noticed that almost everyplace i go to uses a different type of wax. This time, the wax wasn't so hot as other places it was nice and warm and it didn't hurt that much.

Do you think I should put an alcohol free toner on them?

I keep cortisone cream (only for above the eye brow) or Eucerin Healing Balm on hand if I need to sooth my skin.

Chilled aloe gel or plain yogurt work as soothing masks.

You can also use a cool, damp, soft wash cloth or a gel filled eye mask as a compress. Some people like to use cotton pads with alcohol free witch hazel.

Use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil or Dove for sensitive skin. Don't use anything abrasive like a scrub. Avoid toner until the next day or two. Don't take a super hot or long shower to avoid irritating your skin; it's a little sensitive after waxing.

Try putting aloe on it- you can find it at the drugstore- or just plain ice in a plastic bag and wrapped in a paper towel helps, too. Avoid putting any makeup on it, that will only irritate it more.
From now on, try going to other places to get your eyebrows waxed. I've found that some salons have hotter (temperature) wax, and the hotter the wax is, the more it irritates. (so cooler wax= better!)
Good luck!

It should go away within a couple of hours. You could try putting on some lotion. If it doesn't go away, maybe next time you can find someone who does threading (I've only seen it done in big cities). I prefer threading to wax becuase they look excellent, last a long time and no redness or itching!
