No more than 4 hours or the tape will have to be scored to come off without taking the paint with it.

It depends on temperature and humidity. But generally 30 minutes. Start where it is less likely to be seen and pull the tape slowly at a angle away from the fresh paint. You should be able to tell. If the new paint lifts then stop. Wait 30 more minutes. Try again, If it still sticks. You can use a utility knife and cut lightly on the edge which touches the fresh paint. I have found that all blue painters tape are not created equal.

Remember to cut your line as if the tape wasn't there this way you'll end up with a nice clean line. As far as time once you cut your line I'd have it off in 5 minutes no much longer and especially if your using an enamel. Enamels are a glossy paint. Good luck As far as caulk drying, read the tube

Wait...Did you paint the "First color", and want to remove the tape before painting the second color? Perhaps you should rephrase the question.

48 hours. Use low tack masking tape otherwise you will pull off the fresh paint. Otherwise you could you cardboard and move it along as you paint and you can use fresh pieces as youmove along the wall and throw the used pieces away immediately.. That is what I do. Hope this helps and happy painting.

Until the paint and caulk dry. Read the paint/caulk cans for directions.
