They havent been going out for that long. ME and her have been friends for two years now. Me and him have been friends since we were babies. Yes i am a girl. Ok so my friend Maddie wants me to go to the movies with her and her boyfriend Steve but i feel like it would be akward to go and he says things might get serious and i odnt want to be the third wheel but maddie wants me to go. I just dont want it to be akward when we are there. For me akward is just kind of holding hands ,flirting, maybe kissing they might not kiss but i dont want it to be akward . And how do i not make it akward. my friend really really really wants me to go.

i am in awkward situations ALL the time with my friend and her boyfriend. I have been friends with her for about 5 years. I've known him for about 4 years but I only got to know him the past 6 months. They will do the most awkward things in front of me...like her playing with his dick...stripping. He walks around naked in the house...anything you can think of...ive seen it or heard it...believe me. I guess its just something you have to get used to...I have to admit that they have opened me up a lot. Just when they start kissing either mind your own business or look over at them and start cracking jokes...i do it all the time.

If you really don't want to go, then tell your friend. I'm sure she's a nice person and she'll understand what you're feeling, right? Just tell her that you really think her and her boyfriend should spend some time alone together, and you would just be a bother to them, because if you go along, your friend not only has to keep Steve entertained, but she has to keep you entertained too, so she can't focus all her attention on her boyfriend.

i would go, i mean maybe your friends want you there for a reason she dont want to tell you like for example maybe she dont want things to get hott between the 2 of them at the movies and instead of her tellling him that she just want someone else there so he would back off. i would go. and you wont be the 3rd wheel your best firends with both of them there both going to talk to you and consider how you are and things like that.

so go. and if they do start kissing and stuff move to a seat in front of them. or far away so you cant hear them also. and if they ask why u moved. tell them how feel.

Maybe your friend is afraid of being taken too far into the relationship, so she wants somebody else there. I'd suggest you talk to her and see if that's the case. If so, make sure she learns to stand up for herself even without you around.

Talk to your friend and let both of them know that you shouldn't be going out with them when it comes to dating. Be open and honest about the situation. Let them know that you appreciate them inviting you to hang out with them, but you feel awkward because their relationship is getting "serious." You're entitled to your feelings and both of them should respect that. The sooner you tell them, the better off you'll be. In the meantime, focus on what's important in life and take care of yourself. I hope my advice helps you sweetheart. Good luck.

you don't have to go.
but maybe he just wants you to go because it'll make HIM feel akward with just them too.
so maybe bring a friend along to the movies.
so that you won't be the third wheel.

You should take someone else along for you to hang out with in case things do get awkward.

You do not owe this to your best friend.
She seems to want an audience when she dates, and you're more important than that, aren't you?
