if it were someone I cared for it would hurt my feelings and I would just walk away if it were someone I didn't care for I would confront them

it all depends on wether or not you deserved the serve
if you did what they say cop it sweet
if you didnt ask them to justify what they are saying and to prove it or you will be straight to the employer to have this sorted out
dont get violent as it will bring you down to their level
we all go to work to do a job and get along with our colleagues if someone wants to be an arrsseole at work do the right thing report them it will make your job more enjoyable
not a place you hate to be

I'd let the person finish, then I'd say "Well, that sure was illuminating, now everyone knows who the backstabber is around here." I'd just walk away afterward. That person would cease to exist for me.

I think I would joke about it too. No sense in getting all pissed off, if you walk in on them that makes you on top of the situation, so you're really justified in doing anything, cause you're the victim.

I would walk right up to the person without saying anything and stare at them without blinking. If they said something to me I would bring up what he/she just said about me and ask if they would like to repeat it to my face.
