I would seriously doubt that. Getting too much sun, making excessive faces (like frowning a lot) and having dry skin can cause wrinkles.
Many make ups, epecially foundations, lipsticks, lip glosses, lotions and the like are being made with sunblock in them to protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays. They are also infused with special proteins, vitamins and hydrating factors that can soften and smooth the surface of skin, minimizing and even reducing the number and depth of wrinkles. Skin care products are getting better and better and they're spreading their goodness right into actual make up products. I have seen women's skin transform within weeks of using a new skin care treatment, and seen many women keep from getting wrinkles by taking good care of their skin.
In my family (both my mom's side and dad's) the women look very young and have very few (and shallow) wrinkles for their ages. My one grandmother is in her 90s, the other in her 70s. Thier secret: taking good care of their skin, making sure their makeup and skin products are the best they can get and DAILY applying lotions, buffing, stuff like that to help thier skin be its freshest and youngest.
I sell Mary Kay now and we have a line call the TimeWise Miracle Set. It has everything you need to get started on a good skin care program. The foundations we have are also designed for specific skin types and many have sunblock in them. The lip glosses also have extra moisturizing factors and help minimize wrinkles in the lips. There are also many other area specific wrinkle minimizers that help with problem areas.
My site below has more information about our products and how they help to keep your skin young and wrinkle free. I hope it is of help to you!

This statement is 100% FALSE!!!! The reason people will say this is true is because some make up will dry out your skin. But for ur skin to get wrinkles from dehydrating ur skin. You really have to like go tanning in a tanning bed alot. You have to have extreme dryness. If this statement was true than that'd mean that people with natural dry skin will have more wrinkles than a person with oily skin. which that's not true either. (another rumor). I hope this helped

I'm pretty sure makeup does not promote wrinkles. Perhaps the act of applying it, like when you put on eyeshadow you rub/stretch the delicate eye area you could cause damage, but I doubt makeup causes wrinkles. It can, however, clog your pores and make you break out. Make sure you use sunscreen (or sunscreen is in your moisturizer), use a good skincare regimen, and use good quality makeup. Some makeup is even designed to prevent wrinkles. Go to sephora.com, I shop there all the time... they have some great products.

Not really. If it has SPF in it, then it'll help prevent them. Nothing really causes wrinkles other than sun damage and aging. Read paula begoun's website for a lot of information cosmeticscop.com

It depends on your skin type. there are some make-up in the market that has ingredients which irritates the skin. Before buying a make-up, go first to a dermatologist and ask what kind of make-up irritates your skin. I recommend that you buy make-up in Avon, San-San and Loreal Paris. Their make-up is really fantastic!
