The Bible says it's wrong, and God doesn't make mistakes in people. of course it's a choice.

No, actually, homosexuality does have a biological component, though not always (e.g it can be a "learned behavior"). The parts of the brain which controls the chemicals which release when there is an arousal are stimulated by pheromones of the same gender, instead of pheromones from a person of the opposite gender.

Democrats routinely get over 50% of the vote, and in some areas, get over 70%. Since about half the population votes, this means that there is a 1 in 4 chance of you knowing someone who votes democratic.

What do these two things have in common? Are you really saying that the two are one & the same? Are you insuating that all Democrats are Homosexuals?! That is a pretty broad indictment, don't you think?
No, I don't believe that homosexuality is a chosen life style. Bi-sexual life style, you have a choice.
I could vote for a Democrat if I felt they were the best choice I had as a candidate.

Sure would be nice if we could just put everyone in neat little categories, but unfortunately, people are too complex for that. For some, homosexuality is a choice over abstinence (ex. prisoners). For others, it's simply a biological impulse they're born with. Molested children often perform homosexual acts as adults due to psychological issues. Still others crave physical gratification in all forms. Regardless the reason, homosexuality is a harmless act when performed between two consenting adults. Why should this even BE a political issue??

Homosexuals do not choose to be that way. It's probably something in the brain or genetics. Why would someone choose a lifestyle that is so prejudiced against in society?
I can and will for a Democrat.

Why is it that they can proclaim to be gay over 10 years and then come out and say...well now I think I'm confused...maybe I really do like the opposite sex...most of them didn't have a loving, good dad either...it's just hard to imagine that God who created us and damns homosexuality by all means...would curse someone and not give them a choice...he is a good God because he does give us a choice. Maybe their circumstances or life's influences have led them to a life of rebellion and feelings of inadequacy...but it should not define the person...heroes take a better road and the road they are traveling only leads to destruction. Homosexuality is a choice and it feeds on lies. God loves the sinner but hates the sin. Repent and sin no more. To give in to this lie would be like saying we're a perfect people and have no need to be redeemed unto God by his son Jesus. Moral decay is a rebellion towards God...there is no good in that. It is definitely a choice...see Soddom and Gommorrah, and the book of Revelations in the Bible.

Though I don't claim to speak for all gay people, as I do not know all of them, I think that homosexuality in some cases stems from a traumatic experience someone has had in their childhood. Everyone that I know who is homosexual claims they are that way because that's how they are, but when I look back at their past, I see the trauma of broken homes or being abused as a child... it can **** with people and everyone deals with things in a different way.

Now this certainly doesn't mean that every gay person had a messed up childhood, or that every person with a messed up childhood is gay, but it is just my personal theory based on my experience.

And I like to vote Democratic.

I do believe that homosexuality is chosen and can be changed however I don't understand what this has to do with being a democrat unless your talking about homosexuals being very liberal. Then of course I do agree.

It can be a choice, but I think most are born that way. I don't think most people would choose the gay lifestyle and all the pain that goes with it.
I do not vote for democrats.

You're all morons! Don't make conclusions unless you've done your research! Not one of you really knows if homosexuality is a choice or if someone's born that way. I personally don't believe anyone is "born gay" but I also don't believe people are "born straight". Straight and gay are just concepts made by people who don't have the mental capacity to make sense of the world around them. Anyone who dislikes another for thier sexual preference is a living, breathing IDIOT! Not to mention a hate-monger... And screw your god or other 'religious' dieties! Religion was created by man and has been responsible for pain, oppression, hatred, murder, and war.

Thank you for the chance to digress. And the person who asked this has to be 10 years old. Grow up!

First. homosexuality is not a lifestyle; it is a sexual preference that a person chooses. There have been many homosexual that have gone straight with a little help.
