I have a few people that I meet for lunch (not planned /i just bump into them). They seem to like me but it's been 8 months and I'm not really thier friend yet. I've a few different groups and none of them really let me in. Is 8 months too long to wait?

well some friendships take time. try talking with the people or sitting with them. start a conversasion and u guys could meet for lunch often. if u wanna be friends then u should try to talk. its not gonna be easy and i read ur other questions so i see where ur commin from. u just gotta be who u are and talk to them. if they like u then thaats great. as far as groups go why woulld u wanna be part of one"? trust me groups consist of followers and u dont seem like one. but u can be active with different memberes of different groups. talk to whoever talks to u. invite them iver or go out sometime. if u wanna be part of a group dont change just hang out with them and let them know u like them. who could resist. just be friendly and ull have friends in no time. i felt the same way in elementary school but i realized that everyone else that i talked to considered me as there friend so maybe its like that for u. good luck

In the SIMS game, you have to talk to the potential friend about common interests, compliment them, tell them jokes, share interests...I know that's funny...but stay with me here...in *real* life it's like that too.
Life is complicated, there are a lot of reasons why these people aren't picking up on your friendly vibe, don't take it personal. When you meet someone that you "click" with, you will probably know it right away and it should be easy to talk with them. Good luck on your search!

Well it is not....friendship is really a complicated thing..If you are good to all you will make friends in no time...Don't worry just meet someone who has same mind as you.....Wish u luck
