Yes, if that person has broken the law it is beneficial to remove them from office. No one elected or otherwise should be above the law.

How it can be as a beneficial.today every one thinks that a politician is a good person.But not all,any person might be like that and so when a politician cannot do his job well he can be removed from his post before hi term.But there will be another risk in conducting the elections.

And also the politicians are for the people.So if he is good ,people are satisfied,he is bad automatically he had to removed.It is a benefit to them.

I remember Nixon & Agnew. Of course it is beneficial. The system makes it very difficult to remove someone frivolously.
