My best friend is spreading rumors about me!!!?

I have a guy bff and we always hang out together i think my best friend is getting jealous or something she spread a rumor about us going out and now the whole school knows! When I asked her if she spread it she always says that a little birdie told them....When i asked this guy who told him i was going out with my guy bff, he said my girl bff told him!!!!!:K

She is probably getting jealous, sometimes it is hard for a best friend to get adjusted to her friend spending time with her boyfriend.
You may try keeping your business a little more private, until she is more adjusted to you all being together.
If she is truly your friend, she will stay true to you and you to her as well.

Ok. So if the rumors aren't true then it shouldn't matter what the other people are saying. Also those friends you lost probably weren't your real friends because true friends don't stop talking to you because you're "bi". I don't think you should confront her at school if it will lead to a fight because a suspension doesn't look good on your records. So just ask her to meet you some where private, like at your house, or go over to her house and talk to her. And calmly ask her why she's spreading those rumors. And I usually just remember that people will always talk, you might as well give them something to talk about because they're making you famous.

It sounds like she's not a very good friend if she can't be honest with you. Telling you 'a birdie' told her is immature on her part. Maybe she's jealous you're friends with this guy, and if that's the case perhaps you need to reconsider how good a firend she really is? I'd simply ask her why she's spreading rumors because it's hurtful to you.

If she's spreading rumors you about you,she is not your bff,even if she is jealous she does not have the right to tell lies about you.Talk with her,let her know if she keeps spreadinig rumors about you,that you will no longer ge her friend,if jealousy is what's causing it,she would probably stop after you say that.

This is some serious situation, ok if you have her # then try to talk about it to her.& if that dont work, then maybe she is'nt really your friend, cause friends dont do that. Just give her the cold shoulder.(as in ignoring her.) stop hanging with her for about a week, & if she miss u around then she will come back & hang with you again,& if she dont come back in 2 weeks, then she's not really your friend.& does'nt misses you.hope this help.
