Do you get crutches/ cane if you get stitches on the heal of your foot... or do they just tell you to suck it up???

If walking on the foot won't do any damage to the healing incision, and you aren't in any significant pain, then you don't need crutches. Otherwise, you should get crutches to protect the healing wound and minimize the pain.

I had a major cut on the top of my foot, and yes I had crutches-so I'm pretty sure you would as well. Sorry, the shot for numbing(in the foot) is quite painful-better to be prepared, right?! Good luck dear.

If you require stitches, they're going to give you crutches. This is just to keep tension off the wound and keep it together.

Suck it up! Wait until they stick you with the BIG needle to numb it before the stitches.

No, u suck it up. I've had 2 many stiches, doesn't hurt, if it itches, that means it's healing!
