Help!!!Please!!!How can I save money to buy clothes and stuff for my self??

Question

I am in grade 8. I am getting 57 dollars from goverment each month, But my parents are not giving me that money and I am too shy to ask them for that money.But when I need money for my school stuff or going some where they are giving me money, But when I want to buy clothes or stuff, they are not, because they think I already have a lot of clothes, but honestly I do but they are not pretty, most of them is ugly.Help me , please how can I save money to buy my own stuff???!!!!!Help please????!!!I reallyneed the answer for this question!!!!!!

Try Craigslist.. locate your state, go on it and sell the things you don't want anymore, thats how I make extra money, I've made 40-60 a week sometimes selling the things I dont want or need anymore! You could also do some odd jobs such as babysitting, raking the leaves in a neighbors yard, or washing cars!

do your parents give you an alowance.. if so save that, if not ask if you an start doing chores around the house for an allowance;.. thats the best way for you to do it...

also put all spare change into a jar and forget about it... everytime you break a dollar or something put all those coins into a jar... if you let it gro and grow you will be suprised how much you can save up without trying hard at all.

Donate your 'old junky' clothes to Salvation Army, get a receipt. Your parents can use that toward taxes. You are helping them, they should help you. Do not go all crazy and give all of your clothes away, keep the warm stuff, but ditch the 'old junky' stuff. I am certain there is a homeless person somewhere that does not think they are junky.

tell them every time you go to a sleepover or sumthin w/ a friend you need 10-20 dollars thats what i do and i save whatever money i dont use...i go out to eat alot w/ my friends but even when i dont go out to eat i ask anyways its a great way to get free money but you have to lie to do it...but if you are a perfect lil angel i suggest that you ask for an allowance...i have an allowance but i never get those 20 bucks each week so i do that instead :)

Maybe you do chores around the house to get an allowance,or spend your money wisely , or buy only clothes that you like and you can usually get alot good deals on clothes when stores have sales.(sales are a great way to get bargains!)

You could try getting a job? Or maybe you're too young?

An allowance wouldn't be practical for saving. Ummm talk to your mom? Don't throw a fit, just explain to her how your clothes make you feel ugly, tell her what clothes you want, offer to help with chores, etc... I'm sure she wants to see you happy.

Volunteer to do chores around your house. Don't ask for money right away but after a week or 2 u can start to hint around.

Ask your parents if you can do work around the house for them for some money... try babysitting. If you show your parents you want to earn the money they will probably help you out.

you can get plain tight fitting shirts. and use accessories (around $5 from claires or charlotte russe. where ever) to accessorize.

Ummmm. Ross and T.J maxx. You can get cute shirts and bottoms for like 5 bucks. It works Any where else I would sooo not reccomend. Or maybe even Styles?
