Check the following in this order: 1)tire pressures. 2)wheel balancing 3) wheel alignment. 4) front suspension. Having taken these steps, you will find the problem by checking out the easiest (and cheapest) fixes first.

Vibration, or a shimy, can be caused by many things, if it started after a brake job, or another time your tire was removed, it could be an improperly set wheel bearing. Look at the tire that seems to be vibrating. You should see little weights that are clamped to the rim, either the inside or outside, if these arent there, I would recommend getting it balanced, around $5. If they are, I would say remove that wheel. There is a castle nut in the center of your hub, with a cotter pin, remove that. You will find your wheel bearing right there. If your car has over 100000 miles, ge a new one, if not, get some grade 2 grease, clean out the old grease, and repack it with the number 2 grease. Reinstall the same way it was in. This time when you put your tire back on, follow a cross pattern when tightening your wheel. As torquing your wheel the wrong way will put undue stress on the bearing.

Have Fun!

Two main factors are: Either your wheels are unbalanced or your Front Stabilizers (rack and pinion, tie rods and velocity rods) are worn out. If you hear ping whenever you're on a bumpy road, or a "tak" whenever you are steering to the farthest possible....then this means you need to change the rods up front. But if these conditions are not present, then try having your front wheels balanced.....

Sounds like it might be a front-end alignment issue, or the tires need to be rebalanced. Having the tires rebalanced is the easiest and least expensive to fix so try that first. And have them check the alignment.

Front end is out of alignment..... I would also get the front wheels balanced and inflate the tires to the proper tire pressure.
