Bush and the Republicans are neglecting veterans. How do they think they are the real Americans? The kidnap, torture and kill innocent people. When are these crimminals going to jail?

Sadly, they're not going to jail since they're classified as "president". This government is so corrupt. And I still don't understand how Americans want to join the army, when they see how they will be treated when they come home.

It is not supporting the troops, if the troops were being supported, they would all be home!
The cut back on support for the VA is unconscionable. Instead of cutting back, to fund the un-necessary war & increase the number of sick & wounded, we need to make sure that every thing that can be done to support these young people who have given so much, is being done. This would be one true effort to support the troops.

i agree. but not only disabled vets, ALL vets. the congress and president are trying to make cut backs in the VA and such, but are creating more and more vets daily. i think the government needs to get there heads out of thier a**es and start taking care of the mess they've created at home as well as abroad.

It is NOT. Bush doesn't support the troops, nor does his neo-con friends, nor moderate republicans in the government, nor the moderates, or the moderate liberals, or the extreme liberals in the government. To all of them, the troops are pawns on a political chessboard. It is true. It is sad. and it is disgusting.

the VA is backlogged by over 400,000 claims, most are preIraq war! It is scandelious how they treat us! I know guys who have waitied over ten years for rulings!
