Is it time to stock up on fans, airconditioners and ice or time to just 'chill' out.

Umm. I'm not a scientist so I don't know. Looking at the calendar it's still Winter. Guess you're screwed!

Global Warming is nowhere's near being in effect, not even 1% STOP WATCHING THE NEWS!
It's getting warmer out, spring is almost here, you will be teased and it will get cold again then Spring will finally be here, then summer. then fall, then Winter again :)

Its a little bit off both but I'm guessing mainly Global Warming. It has been a big issue lately.

It is most probably global warming. the pollution that the earth is going through is depleting a hole in the ozone layer, so we are not blocked from the sun's rays.

it is the natural variance in our weather -- nothing to worry about.
satellite data shows no significant global temperature trends over the past 25 years.
besides, most people like hot weather -- that is why they move to disgusting hot places like florida and arizona.
telling americans they need to sacrifice so we can have COLDER winters ... is kind of a non-starter.
