Looking at my son's eyes, while he was unaware and seeing that he had his dad eyes, his father died in Novemeber, and it was comforting to see that he lives on in my son.

Email from my first girl-friend after 40+ years without contact.
My grandchild losing her first tooth.
My cockateil imitating a police car when 'The Bill' came on.
And the thought that Reading FC forced Man Utd into a replay - but then that was a laugh, not a smile.

When I was driving home from work this morning I thought about the smile my 8 month old son has for me when I walk in the house. A true gift, my Jake.

I got a new computer recently, and you know how they come pre loaded with games that you can play for just a little while then you have to buy them or get rid of them? well my 7 year old was playing a bowling one off and on, and yesterday she wanted to play it again, but the " trial" was over. So I told her the game was over and she couldnt play it anymore. Well with all the conviction she could muster she says to me, " well put another quarter in it so I can play!" I laughed for a long time over that one.

I was collecting my holiday currency.
I then had a wonderful thought that Tony Blair was arrested & was to be tried, convicted & hanged for War Crimes.

actually many things. i found out i dont have any school tomorrow, my best friend likes me, im on the honor roll, but the best thing was finding ten dollars in my pocket. im rich! lol
