x/x - 9 - 4 = 9/x - 9 ==> (since x/x = 1)

1 - 9 - 4 = 9/x - 9 ==>

-12 = 9/x - 9 ==>

-3 = 9/x ==>

x = 9 / (-3) ==>

x = -3

If U mean x/(x-9) - 4 = 9/(x-9)
Multiplying the bothh sides by ((x-9) ( assuming that x >< 9)
x - 4(x-9) = 9
x - 4x + 36 = 9
- 3x = -27 ---> x=9 refussed, so ther is no solution in R

Common den. is x-9. Muly bt it.

x - 4(x - 9) = 9
x - 4x + 36 = 9

-3x = -27

x = 9, but 9 can not be used. No solution.

hmm it seems simple unless you mean x/(x-9-4) = 9/(x-9)

i got x to equal -3 personally. but i might have done it wrong.

please write the equation out clearer.

x/x = 1

-9-4 = -13

it's not that tough :-)
