Last night I had this dream that I was at a cross-country meet where the course ended at a restaurant on the shore of a lake. This girl I used to like in high school was running in the race, and I was there to support her. There was some dworky friend of hers there too, and I confessed to the dworky friend that I had a huge crush on the girl who was running. The friend turned to me and said, "NO way!" and started laughing. I said, "What's wrong with that?" She just laughed and laughed and muttered the word "Geek" under her breath.
But then that girl finished the race and came over and stood next to me and put one hand on my shoulder and held the other hand with hers. Her dworky friend said, "What are you doing?" to which she replied, "Oh, we've been hanging out together for some time now."
So this dream obviously flashed back to high school days, although in my dream everyone looked like they do now. Does my dream mean anything?

2) What significance do bodies of water have to you?, since you state the course ended at a restaurant on the shore of a lake.
3) Do you know if this girl from high school has been running lately, either figuratively or literally? What meaning does running have to you?
4) How did you feel when the girl put one hand on your shoulder and held your hand with hers, and told the other girl that ya'll had been hanging out together for some time?
5) How did everyone look now? Did you still have the crush on the girl you did in high school, even with how she looked now in your dream?
6) To me your dream means, that you feel that the girl you had a huge crush in high school is currently figuratively running, and you are there to see her to the end. Despite what others think of you, you are willing to admit your crush on the girl. You desire that the girl you have the crush on will publicly demonstrate and reciprocate your affection for her. The scene of the dream at the end of a race at a restaurant on a lake, conjurs up a romantic scenario because of the water and the restaurant, and the fufillment of journey--end of a race.
Beyond that, if I were you I might contact the girl you had the crush on, just to see what she's up to...how her life is today, just to see...

Hi Scott, Dreams do try to tell you something or try to warn you about something. Maybe you will meet this girl from high school that you liked so much in the near future. Time will tell. I do believe dreamd can and do tell us about things that will happen. A Friend.
