There is one class that i usually do good in. However, our grades came out today and mine dropped considerably. Nothing has changed and I was doing the same in class. I want to ask the teacher what happened but don't want to sound like I'm accusing him of something or sound like I'm grade grubbing. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

Just ask the teacher where u went wrong?ask him to explain it to u so that u can improve ur grades next time!In this way if he has made a mistake he will notice it and correct it .if it was not his mistake but yours then u will come to know abt it!

Make an appointment to talk to the teacher about your grade.
Ask him/her to show you how your grade was calculated for this term.
Express your concern about how your grade has fallen and ask for advice about what you can do to bring up next time.

The teacher should be frank and honest with you. If you do well on your next tests and projects, the teacher may take into account how serious you have been about your grades.

If you feel you were not graded fairly, talk to your parents about it and decide if you need to speak to the principal. I doubt if the grade will be changed (unless the principal found evidence to the contrary). This may change how the teacher looks at you, though. (just wanted you to know).

Be honest and forthright. That will help you a lot.

3rd quarter ends in several weeks, right? Start off by asking him/her what you can do to bring your grade up. After getting your answer, simply ask the teacher why your grade went down. It definitely will not sound like you're accusing......Good luck.

I think you should ask your teacher about your grade. Perhaps you forgot to turn something in. Or perhaps your teacher made a mistake.

You should calmly explain your worries and then ask what you may be able to do to improve your grades.
