i beg to differ with leakthoma, but the greatest defense of all time the the dolphins no name defense. they basically had back to back shutouts in superbowls 7 and 8. in superbowl 7 the redskins only score came on garo yapremians fumble returned by mike bass of the redskins, and in superbowl 8 minnesotas only score was a meaningless touchdown with less than 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter when miami was up 23-0. in fact, in superbowl 7 the no name D was so dominant, the redskins offense never moved the ball into miami territory.
